Terms of use
Last updated 6 September 2026
These terms cover using toasty.ie. They're written to be read, not to catch you out — and nothing in them takes away rights you have under Irish or EU consumer law.
Who you're dealing with
toasty.ie is operated by Toasty Ltd (“Toasty”, “we”), Greystones, Co. Wicklow. You can reach us at hello@toasty.ie or 01 6214 7969. Installations carried out by SEAI-registered installers.
Estimates are estimates
The prices on this site — including the figure at the end of the quote flow — are honest estimates based on typical installations for a home like the one you describe. They are not a binding quote or an offer, because no two houses are the same and we haven't seen yours yet.
Your actual, fixed price comes after the free survey, in writing. Until you sign that written quotation, no contract exists between us — using the site or receiving an estimate commits you to nothing.
Grants
Grant figures on this site come from published SEAI scheme rules, shown with the date we last verified them. The SEAI — not Toasty — decides who qualifies and how much they get, and schemes can change or close. We help with the application and paperwork, but we can't guarantee approval, and an estimate that assumes a grant is conditional on the SEAI awarding it.
The free survey
Surveys are free and carry no obligation — on either side. If the survey shows your home needs something different from what the estimate assumed, we'll tell you straight and re-price before anything goes ahead.
If you hire us
Installations are carried out under a separate written contract, which covers the fixed price, payment schedule, timelines and warranties. That contract — not these website terms — governs the work itself, and you'll see it before you commit to anything.
Using the site
The content on this site is general information about home energy upgrades, not advice tailored to your property — that's what the survey is for. The site's text, illustrations and design are ours; don't reproduce them commercially without asking. Don't use the site in a way that breaks the law or interferes with it working for others.
Liability
We take real care to keep the information here accurate and current, but we can't promise a website is ever error-free, and we aren't liable for decisions made on an online estimate alone — that's why every job starts with a survey and a written quote. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't legally be excluded, and nothing limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
The legal bits
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If this page changes, the new version appears here with a new date at the top.
